I have installed sharenow setup2010 and nothing shows up in Revit. It does however show up in AutoCAD. Anyone else had this?

Steve, Sharenow is an addin that publishs your model to freewheel where people can view the file via a hyperlink using their browser. The advantage is that they don't need to download additional software like design review. Sound great huh... well if you can get it to work, it is!

Cool, hadn't heard of that, I'll have to check it out, thanks!

just downloaded and installed the extension. The attached warning came up when I first started Revit, aparently I've gotten ahold of some very advanced software from the future, good to know that Revit will still be around in 30 years though! :)
I fixed the path in the Revit.ini file and all seems to be working now for me...

Ah yes, the Revit 2040 release.... those were the good ole days. I miss the holographic interface with the telepathic add-on.

Yeah, instead of those annoying warning dialogues, you'd just get the sense that somethings wrong... besides the interface being better, the wishlist hasn't changed in 31 years!

That's a fair point, sharenow doesn't appear in my ini at all. Could you post the entry so that I can add it?

sure:
EAName4=ShareNow
EAClassName4=Autodesk.Freewheel.RevitAddin.ShareNowApp
EAAssembly4=C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Freewheel Client for Autodesk 2010 Products\RevitShareNow.dll
of course you'll have to change the 4 to whatever it is in your sequence...

Perfect! It's now working :p. Thanks for pointing out the sequence number, never would have spotted that. It also made me notice that you had to change EACount.
