Would be there one who knows how to overcome the following problem, which my Software vendor's Support Centre can't resolve, they say is a Good One?. After using system restore I haven't being able to run the Setup.exe from my original CD to removed or to fix ADT problems. It gives the following Windows Installer message:
"This patch package could not be opened, Verify that the patch package exist and that you can access it, or contact the Application Vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer patch package"
Still after running the instmsiw.exe or the DAT.msi it comes with the same error.
I will be very thankful for the solution which I will pass to the vendor's Support Centre.

The closest technical document that I can find to this
issue is this one: ID: TS79935 (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=3232413&linkID=2475507)
I'm thinking you may need to resort to a Clean Install (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=2887771&linkID=2475323)

Michael, thank you 4ur reply, I tried all but As I am not able to uninstall ADT by any of the two allowed ways: Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs or by the Setup options from the CD Rom as both comes with the same Windows installer errorm, as described initially. I am trying every thing I can come across with, and with faith some one have it. Take care and thank u again

It may not be clear from that document,
that you are at your last resort.
You most likely will need to edit your system
REGISTRY and remove (delete) all traces
of the ADT3.3 installation, by removing all
registry entries related to it.
After that reboot the system and then reinstall
the application from the CD.
Take a look at these links as well

Michael...As I BELIEVED... always...there was light at the end of the tunel. Thank you for your support. In response to that, I wish to put this information for others who may come across this problem. After trying all the tricks and advices(thank you), While steering into the Lake, I remembered that ADT 3.3 was running within an Operation System, call Windows XP, so the problem may has nothing to do with ADT, I went to http://support.microsoft.com/ and there I found "the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility".
The Windows Installer CleanUp Utility is provided "as is" to help resolve installation problems for programs that use Microsoft Windows Installer. If you use this utility, you may have to reinstall other programs.
I deleted (Not Uninstall, as I was not able to run ADT Setup or Add remove Programs) every part of ADT folder, including those one mentioned in the registry(As per your ID: TS79935 & "Clean Install"), then I Run the "the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility".and rebooted.
After that I was able to run ADT Setup again from my CDRom or a copy in the Hard Drive.
Thank you again, and wish you succes in your life.
