Anyone using an Intel i7 processor? If so, have you noticed any performance improvements with Revit?

I use it. Fast!

However I have problems printing - seems to be Vista 64 problem

Using i7 965 w/ 12 Gb ram on Vista. Occasional hiccup but generally, it really cooks.

Yes, I have been using one for about 9 months and not only Revit but all other applications run faster on it. See my post on the following link:

Hopefully i7 + Windows 7 64-bit + at least 8 GB RAM + Revit 2010 64-bit will = super-smokin' combo! And also $$$$ :p

I got win7 RC a few months ago. in my experiences so far it works great, and I am already planning a purchase of a new i7 / Win 7 / 8+GB ram workstation for myself, and passing my current workstation onto a noob.

I think we are bypassing Vista 64bit in the hopes of getting Win 7 64.....I have it on my laptop and its faster than my desktop with Vista...

I use a quad-core i7 with 12GB Vista 64 next to a dual dual-core Xeon with 8GB Vista 64, both running Revit 2010 wu1 and the difference in performance is noticeable (the core i7 is quicker at everything and modestly quicker in Revit).
