We're working with another firm that's providing us with a model that contains hundreds of views. I'm looking for a way for them to flag specific views that we need. One idea I had was to be able to change the color of the name. Another would be to create a category, like 'sections' but named consultant. I don't think prefixing the name is an option as it wouldn't go with the rest of the project. How do other people handle this? Any ideas? Thanks.

We use a view subsort category that is assigned to each view and then set up our browser to use that to sort the views. We do the same thing for sheets.

Add a project parameter to you views and sheets, called view type, then in each of your views you can type in what ever you would like the type to be called: example structural, then update the browser to sort by the new parameter.
