Hi All,

Ressurecting an old train of thought .. .found it in the "original" wish list. Being able to link a spreadsheet (eg excel) into revit so non model information can be included in a drawing set... IE planning information tables, code compliance, simple timber framing schedules (assembled manually - not generated by a computer analysis).

This was wish list of 2004.. now with an API is anyone aware of an interface?

Nope, no interface. There is a free app that someone wrote that will copy Excel information into a schedule(Key Schedule is what I use) so getting this information into Revit for use is not such a big deal. Word info can just be copy-clipped into Drafting or Legend viewports. We have taken some of the code-based calculated information, and built schedules so that it is being calculated automatically, or in a couple of cases, we need to enter the total number from one schedule into another to make it update.

I have not tried it, but it sounds like it is similar to what your are looking for.
