This one is hard to explain, so bare with me...
The building model has two towers - one is a portion that is oriented perpendicular/parallel and the other is a portion that is skewed on a slight angle - like 13 degrees or so.
Basically, we have a group file that contains everything to make up a suite... walls, doors, floor finishes, cabinetry etc... When we load the group file into the host file, the group gets mirrored to another location. When we mirror the group, the tile surface pattern - which is a 12" x 12" tile - on the finish floor rotates so that one is perpendicular/parallel to the monitor and one is skewed on angle. This happens as soon as the group is mirrored.
When the group was created, it was created on this slight angle.
I have used a scope box to orient this portion of the model to be perpendicular/parallel to the screen and the origin of the groups "x/y axis" remains on this skewed angle as if the groups axis is not affected by the view rotation.
What I want to know is if there is a way to change the rotation of that "axis" or if there is a different process/technique to follow when creating the group.
Ideally, we want the floor tile and the groups "x/y axis" to be perpendicular to the walls at all times.
Thanks in advance for any help!!!
