Other than maybe two or three interesting classes, I think this year I'll be focusing more on the un-conferences. Higher level of discussions and great ideas are shared there, in my opinion.

See you all there!

I agree, the un-conference sessions look good. Any idea if these get recorded and posted with the other sessions on AU's website?

Well, could sure use a trip to Vegas again, but just like last year - it seems like most of the classes is way to basic... just did a quick search in the list of classes for AU2009

Advanced 92
Intermediate 213
All Levels 266

That´s just 16% Advanced classes... not worth a 5.000 mile trip, and $5.000 :O)

Not Sure. LAst Years were not. The reason given is that the Un-Classes are round-table discussion, and the recording equipment they use cannot accurate track who is speaking, and cannot pan to follow the random pattern of the speakers.

Unfortunately, none of the proposed generative algorithmic and panelling classes made the cut, which could have made AU all little more exciting. It’s also remarkable to see the usual template, collaborations & detailing classes always making it. It seems that AU is lately more focussed on project/BIM managers, trainers, clients, owners than the core architect/designers.
