Hi all,

We have had a user use the invisible line tool to hide some lines in a plan view. What has happend unfortunately is that he has accidentailly selected a beam which is located below the floor slab, this has obviously made the beam invisible, which is not desirable.

Is there any chance of reversing this, oh yeah it happened about 3 hours ago and there has been a substantial amount of work done since then.

Any ideas

Should still be able to select the beam even though you can't see it in this currently view. The easiest solution might be to select everything in that direct area by selecting from right to left. Then filter out lines. Then delete the lines.

Yes, In that view, Use the Linework tool again, and set the linestyle to <Default>, then select the beam again (as the cursor moves over it, it will sort of appear) then select those lines that had been made invisible.

Deleting the lines will delete the beam itself.

Deleting the lines will not delete the beam. The lines were created in the project and not in the family.

Just a note - I have 2009 64-bit, and the line style you need to use is called <By Category>
