Door Family

We are creating new door families in 2010, and I have an old door family model I want to use, except it has a Constrain "Default Elevation" this is not present in the 2010. I know I can ignore this but I am sure that it is going to cause problems in the future... already when I open the model up it shows the Default Elevation at 4'-0" Is there away to get rid of this? I tried to delete it... no luck.

Open the door family. Check and see if there is a reference plane located at the default base level in the family.

If you find that ref. plane, click it, go to properties and see if "defines origin" is checked,
and if the reference plane is named. It should define the origin, and be named "base level"
or something of your choosing.

See if there is a parameter for height above level? If so, set it to 0.

Save the family, then load into project.

I thought the default elevation parameter was only in Window families? I've never seen that in a door family template.
