Hey all,

We're looking at doing some stacking diagrams in Revit. Due to required information on these diagrams for the client, the stacking diagrams are just a basic graphical representation of the spaces and do not directly relate to the Color Area Plans we created. Therefore, we are using basic filled regions in a section view to do the stacking diagrams. We've created a bunch of Filled Regions types for the different types of service. Is it possible to create a tag that will read the Filled Region Type parameter? I'd rather not have to use dumb text for this exercise.

If you had done this as a family you could have tagged it....

Created a family that had a parametric filled region in it.

BTW ... I think you could have also done a Design Option that set up "area plans" for this function.

that's a good call...I'll look into the family. Can you elaborate on the Design Option idea? Thanks!
