I'm not sure what's going on, but suddenly the 3D perspective views in this 15 MB Revit file take FOREVER to regenerate after moving the camera. Just now I rotated the camera around while in the view, and after extremely jumpy/jittery movement, it sat there and took a full TWO MINUTES thinking and regenerating before letting me do anything!
I've never had view performance issues like this before, even on MUCH larger projects.
The only thing I can think of that has changed is that we decided to bind our linked site file, and re-link the CAD survey. So now my topo and pads are all in with the building, and the CAD file is linked into this file (instead of it being a separate site file).
However all the site stuff is on a separate workset that is off, and the CAD file is on its own workset that isn't even loaded, and yet the 3D views are still lagging as I described.
Could it be the CAD file that's causing this? The CAD file is only about 350 KB. I suppose I could just stick the CAD file into its own blank Revit file and link that Revit file in.
