Can't change callout head...

I've just drawn a callout for an enlarged plan. I made my new callout head by File>New>Annotation Symbol>Callout Head and saved it. I've loaded the new head into the project.

When I select the callout, go to properties, and then edit/new, my new callout head isn't in the dropdown list. I've verified it is in the project by looking in the project browser - families.

This is a project I brought up from 6.1.

Any thoughts??

I had this same problem. The only way I was able to change the callout head was to open the drafting view and change it there.

New to 7.0. Callouts/Sections point to a "view tag style" in the Setting/View Tags menu.
The loaded family will show up in a drop down list there.
