One wall and the trim attached to it in a model will not allow me to select it. (I did not create the model). All other walls and objects can be selected. Any thoughts?

Maybe the file uses Design Options. Uncheck the Exclude Design Options in the Options Bar (2009) or at the bottom of your window (2010).
