I had an old mnu menu that was converted to a cui menu. In the old menu, I had a pop0 menu that worked with the shift-rt click mouse button 3. It also worked when the mnu was converted to a cui (let's call this menu1.cui).

I want to use the pop0 menu in another cui menu (let's call this main.cui). I have the menu1.cui now attached as a partial menu and even copied the button command into the main.cui mouse button section but I cannot get the menu1.cui pop0 to work.

1. Can I get the original pop0 to work in another cui?
2. How can I create a pop0 menu in a new cui file that is not being converted from an old mnu file? I use the pop0 to open a pull down menu of items on the fly.

Shortcut menus only work reliably in the core CUI file. Although there is a section in every CUI file for shortcut menus, they really only work when all located in a single file.

Which stinks. I have complained about this since the first release of the CUI.

You may have some success by copying all the shortcut menus into the desired CUI file and using the Menu command to load (temporarily) that single CUI. This can make AutoCAD recognize the new location for the shortcut menus.

But I've had some trouble with this approach in AutoCAD 2008 and 2010. I think I'm going to have to "touch" the OOTB CUI files in order to get thing to work, which I usually do not do.
