FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation?

Sometimes when I select an object I get a AutoCAD LT Error Aborting window that displays FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x1314e Exception at 6728a3c0h. And the program shuts down and I have to recover. If anyone knows please let me know because I don't have a clue.

Issues/Problems with random crashes are notoriously difficult to resolve due to their very nature.... hopefully Ed's little guide will help.
