Hello! I'm the editor for the magazine and I am writing seeking articles for the next issue. I'm a Revit guy so I'm wandering over here looking for some folks interested in telling their story from the AutoCAD side of things. It can be about how you use a certain feature effectively, how well you have implemented it, how hard it was or easy, it can be about the changes it brought to your firm or a killer project story!

The underlying structure of the magazine is organized like this: Cross Discipline Issues, Civil, Architecture, Structure and MEP. Ideally articles will fit neatly into one of these categories. The cross discipline category is intended to deal with both collaboration between software/firms as well as the other software like Navisworks, Ecotect etc and how they fit into our work. If you didn't see the magazine yet or just want to refresh your memory you can visit AUGIWorld (http://www.augi.com/publications/augiworld) to check it out.

The process is Pitch, Outline, Draft, Final, our working deadline to turn things over to the publisher so please don't hesitate!

Interested? I hope so! Please send your ideas to the appropriate content manager http://www.augi.com/publications/augiworld/augiworld-content-managers/ .

Danny,
Cool.

If you look at the most recent issue of AUGIWorld Magazine, on the Editor's page, you'll find a list of the current Content Managers for each of the regular columns.
Each of those content managers would be able to tell you any themes and openings in their upcoming editorial calendars and you'll submit articles through them.

If you've got a topic that doesn't fit into one of those columns, contact the Editor and pitch him the idea, he'll be able to tell you when there will be an opening.

Cheers!

EDIT: here's a page with contact info http://www.augi.com/augiworld/augiworld-content-managers I should have thought to look there first.
