Some of the wall hatch patern is visible but some others are not. I am able to preview them individualy in the wall property window, but they don't show on the plan. How do I edit the property to have them all visible?

Thanks

Hard to know exactly without seeing a screenshot, but here are some things to check:

-If your view detail level is set to Coarse, some walls will not display any hatch material. If you click on these walls and edit the type properties, you will see an option for "Coarse Scale Fill Pattern." If no fill pattern is selected, choose one there. The other option would be to change your view detail level to Medium or Fine detail. The wall construction layers will show in those detail levels.

-Check to make sure that your walls are actually being cut by your floor plan view plane (usually 4' above the level). If your walls end below the cut plane all you will see is an outline, regardless of detail level.

Hope that helps!

Is there a way to change what displays in coarse? For example a brick and block wall shows the extents of the wall at coarse and then at medium it shows rick, insulation, and block. I would like to show the block and the extents of the wall so coarse doesn't have enough information and medium has too much.

You can edit what walls look like in coarse scale, but not to the extent that I think you are looking for. Every wall has an instance property called "Coarse Scale Fill Pattern" that you can set. So you can make the whole wall look like block fill, solid white, or solid black (this is one way to create presentation-style plans). It won't let you show high detail of one layer (i.e. the block) and eliminate detail of other layers (i.e. the brick and airspace/rigid insulation).

I think the only way I know of to achieve what you are looking for is to edit the Brick material so that it does not have any cut hatch pattern associated with it. Downside is that this will affect EVERY view in which the brick is cut, regardless of detail level.
