What happened to the Structural Useage Selection?

How do I change a wall to a bearing wall?

That's how it worked in 2009 not in 2010! This does appear in the stack walls

My error it does work that way except in stacked walls - It was easier to re-draw the walls.

Might have helped if you had mentioned that you're talking about a Stacked Wall in your original post. I also assume that's a typo above - I think you meant it doesn't work for stacked walls.

I tried changing a Stacked Wall in both 2009 and 2010, and I don't see any difference. As Cliff's image shows, you select a (normal) wall, and go into the Element Properties. Works the same in 2009 and 2010.
For a Stacked Wall, I do not see the "Structural Usage" option in either 2009 or 2010.
I assume that's because part or your Stacked Wall might be Bearing, and part might not.
So what do we do about it? Like most things Revit, the answer lies in 3D. Switch to a 3D View, hover your mouse over the Stacked Wall, and Tab. You'll see each section of the wall highlight. Click on the section, go to Element Properties, and there's your "Structural Usage".

Again, however, this process is identical in 2009 and 2010. you might want to hold off writing that email to Carl Bass.

Even though it is a stacked wall, you can achieve what you are waning to do, you just can't set it in one step. You have to hover over the stacked wall, and tab, usually at least twice. This allows you to select the individual "piece" of the stacked wall, without breaking it apart. Then you can set that piece to Bearing, etc. By repeating, for ever piece in the stacked wall, you can effectively, wall by wall, get it so those pieces of stacked wall will appear in the structural package. Not pretty, but can be done.
