door schedule question

is there a way to import a door schedule to another project. I want to bring over a " template type" schedule so i do not have to recreate columns and catagories every time I need to make a door schedule in a new project.

I know you can do view template of the schedule which i can set the formating of its apperarence.

Place the schedule on a sheet, and then use the Insert View from File, and inport the sheet. The schedule will come in with just the headers and footers (assuming you don't have any doors, but all other formtting will be intact.

You can also copy/paste from the project browser to an open view.

thanks for your help i tried both ways and both worked. nice to have more than one option
