When using Ref Planes ("Wall Closure" box is checked) to control the depth of the finish return at an opening I can get the finish to return at the jambs but the finishes do not return at the head and sill of the openings. I would assume that the Ref Plane would control them all.
Attached is an example at a rollup door. The jamb finishes return but the finish at the head of the door does not. Same thing happens at a regular punched window opening (jambs do, head and sill do not wrap, see attached example). However if I add a sloped sill to the punched opening the sill finish will wrap to the back of the sill but the head still doesn't wrap (see attached example).
Is this just the way Revit handles these things or is there a way for the finish to wrap at the head and sills?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Josh
