I can not figure this one out. I have a bunch of Extensions.Buffer1, 2, 3, ... Shared Parameters that are in our Default Template and show up in every project we create. The part I can figure out is how to get rid of them, I knows they were originally brought in when we in installed the Revit Extensions but we have since removed that plugin. Yet the risidual parameters exist. They show up all over and one particular spot is in schedules as a possible field to use. They DO NOT show up in our Shared Parameter file however so I have no way of removing them. Can anyone help on this??

Under the Manage Panel, click on Project Parameters. They should be in there for you to delete. :)

Sounds like it is time for a support request. By extensions are you referring to Autodesk's extensions or someone else's. If someone else then you need to run it past them too. The other possibility is that someone in the firm still has the extension(s) installed, it would only take one to reintroduce them.

Possibly if it where on a shared project (central) but they are on the default project template. I think you are right, time for a support ticket. I hate those!

I know those parameters get added during the process of using the Freeze Drawing Extension, but i cant seem to replicate the problem now. But, all i have are a few small projects to test, as we only have extensions installed for 2009 and everything else is in 2010.

Those are definitely from the extensions you have installed on your machine. I have those Extension Buffer parameters in my copy of 2009, which has all the door renumbering and other extensions installed. I do not have it in 2010 because I haven't installed any external tools or extensions yet.

If you remove them, I think you'll create problems for your extension tools, unless it would just create them automatically again (not sure on that).

I don't want to use the extensions so removing them should not cause any issues. I just wish I knew how to remove them??

If they are extensions from Autodesk, then I would just open a support request with them and see what they say.
