Who attended the CAD Camp in Jacksonville? What a great event!
What types of classes would you like to see in the future? Would you like to see more classes or more days? Less classes and longer?
Your input helps us to successfully plan for the future.
Thanks!

If camp was further north I would have been there...

No Beth I wasn't at the camp I was in Virginia
taking a few pilgrims into the world of Viz and Viz Render
and then a few folks into the valley of Land Desktop.
However my offer to the camp planners to provide
camp counseling services to any future camps anywhere
out west still stands.

Yes,
What a wonderful time. It was very informative. Longer class time would have been a bit better, there is a lot of information to receive in a limited time. We were not able to stay for the nights entertainment (left right after last class). It is a long drive back to Lakeland with work happening today. It would have been helpful if the classes had been recorded so that copies could be purchased (or downloaded) so that I could share with the office all of the information that was provided.

Thanks for your feedback. That's what we need to hear to make next year's event more successful and to plan for more in 2005.
If this were the ideal world, what would you like in an event? How far would you be willing to travel? Is a one-day event better or would you see more value in two days?

Well, a class on how to grow money on trees would be nice....
Anyway....
What would I like to see? Well, basic programming (LISP, VBA) would be nice, maybe a class on shortcuts? Y'know, like learning that something you do now in six steps can actually be done in two, things like that? Actually, this year's course listing looked pretty good (I read it and wished I could go!). Just whatever gets picked, I would ask that people realise that not everyone is in the latest-and-greatest release...I'm getting tired of reading CAD magazines (like Cadalyst) where all they talk about is tips & tricks for 2005! Hey, a "playpen" would be nice - somewhere where we could go play with different softwares? Like, if I use vanilla AutoCAD only, I can see what ADT and Building Systems, etc., look like....or am I getting too much like AU? I wouldn't know...I can't go there, either!
How far would I be willing to travel? Well, seeing as I would have to drive home afterwards, something within 2hrs of me would be nice/safer.
Ooo, one or two days. Well, I can see the benefits of having a two-day event...however, I can also visualize the answer I'd get if I asked to go on a two-day seminar...so I guess I'll have to say one day.
Thanks for caring about our feedback!

Now those are the kinds of comments and suggestions that we like and that are helpful.
Thanks!

Look for Shaan Hurley's reports and links to his photos (which are pretty good).

I have seen a few mentions of upcoming events. Does anyone know if any locations have been selected or at least tenative locations.
Thanks
