Does the old .BAT file that would batch update a whole Library no longer work with Revit 7? 'cause I can't seem to get it to work.

Never mind, I missed a step. It's working right along now.

What bat file? I remember someone talking about it. Where can I get it to update my library?

Also, the delete all 0001 batch file will delete all files with .xxxx.rvt or .xxxx.rfa in their name, if you want to get ride of old backup files. Use it carefully.

I didn't create these though. Just have them on file!

Actaully, when you run the .bat it creates a list of what it's going to update when you drag the journal file over the Revit icon. You can simply run the .bat, and then remove anything from the resultant list that you don't want it to touch. You do a search like: *.00*.rfa and it will list all of the backups, and they you can either find 'em and delete them or simply remove them from the list.

Also, keep in mind that this .bat & journal file is a great way to find out which of your families don't work, for it will hang when it hits one that has errors. Blessing and a curse there, for most of our windows families here aren't so good, for they were made when people here were first learning Revit... :D

Thanks for the file.
