what Analysis software you are using?

how can you differentiate its functionality to Autodesk Robot?

really depends on what analysis you are doing.

RSA needs alot more local codes for me to be useful, we have alot more products that do not require extensive setup.

Plus when it comes to cable tension designs not much there. Also others I am aware of have commented on some unusual results with harmonic frequencies in larger structures.

In addition to RSA we use Prokon (www.prokon.com)
It is a bit of a crude program, but it works OK for day-to-day and not very complex items

Prokon is OK for certain applications.
It is hellishly frustrating to work with. Some very basic modelling functions are not available to define your structure, i.e.
When meshing walls and slabs the nodes do not line up automatically.
Cannot extend elements
The input methods are VERY manual and archaic
Editing a structure is a nightmare - its easier to start from scratch
Element releases & types of links are limited

Furthemore:
The output format is ****
The export to Excel does not work properly
The link with REVIT needs serious work. They are NOT there yet.
There are so many errors that updates are issued almost on a weekly basis
.... and can carry on till tomorrow...

Bottom line... It is cheap, performs the basics well.... BUT you get what you pay for

At the moment we run 2.4.14 of the main programme and version 2.4.60 of the Frame Analysis module

thanks for the great info also I read from their site they do not have such code for UBC97 and ACSE 7-05 lack of supports for American Standards

RSA lacks our design standards.

We use a combination of tools some we have ditched over the years others only for certain elements.

ETABS - High Rise
SPACE GASS - Steel Construction
Inducta - Slab analysis
RAM Concept & RAPT - PT, Reo Design & cracking control
Microstation - Variety of uses, theme park rides, steel simple designs etc..

So far 3 of those have great links with Revit 1 will never develop links and 1 link is in development and we use dxf's for the other.

We have trialled Robot but the engineers found issues with High Rise calcs compared to ETABS plus as it only contains Australian steel codes and no concrete we're not ready to commit to it or implement it till it meets the standards of our other packages.

That being said it's collaboration with Revit is great but still there are problems.
