"Cannot copy wall panels unless their parent wall is also being copied."

This is what I do

I create a stack wall and I edit the profile to create a round opening. I go to Modeling -> Create -> Generic Model and I create a sweep with a profile family from my library.
I choose the correct working plane ...
The exact steps are : Sketch 2D path, Finish path, Finish sweep...
Here I get the attached image.

The next step is Finish Family. This is when I get the above message. I tried to make all kind of sweep solids using this method but it doesn't work.

Is this some kind of bug or am I doing something wrong?

This is bug that development will look at ASAP. Sorry for trouble.

Message means that you can't copy wall panel of stacked wall without copying the whole wall or breaking up the stacked wall first. It is invoked at your action because of bug.

As workaround, set workplane to plane of the wall, create (model) line by picking desired edge of the stacked wall, and use that model line as path for your sweep (or sketch the path on side face of the wall).

If you do not need stacked capabilities any more for this particular wall, pick stacked wall and use 'Break Up" command in right mouse button pop-up before making your sweep.
