i recently observed this:
if you have a generic model nested (nonshared) in a window family, you can see the generic model cut in plan view in family editor but nor cuttable in the project.
if you have a generic model nested (shared) in a window family, you can see the generic model cut in plan view in family editor and in the project.
Is this normal or is something i missing. I wander why you need to make a nested generic model shared in order to be cuttable in project.
I have to mention that in bouth cases the window family is shared(don`t know if make a diffrence becouse iti is the parent family). And of course, in the generic model , in the window family and in the project the cut plan is positioned to go through generic model.
