I am attempting to format some notes on our general notes sheet and attempting to create indents so the notes line up with each other separte from the note number. I spend all this time tabbing and setting it up and then when I click out of the text edit, the margins go all wonky and my margins are gone. It appears that the text alignment relates to zoom and I can't seem to nail the text down so it doesn't shift around whenever I click in and out of the text edit box. Anybody have an idea how to correct this?

I've noticed that too, and unfortunately I'm not sure if there is any easy way around it.

If they are "general" notes, then Create a Key schedule, and a text parameters, enter your text in the schedule, and use the Key value as the numbering. Then the text always stays in its column, and you can change the width without totally screwing up the appearance
