shared coordinates with consultants

How does this work. I have a copy of their model and I have linked our structural model, positioned it and assigned a shared coordinate system. If I walk them through the same process will we be able to share models and will that shared coordinate system hold? Thanks.

Yes.

When you click on a linked file, go to properties.

You can select " By Project" or "Shared" ( or something like that ).

The Consultant can do the same on their end, linking your model into theirs
and selecting "Shared".
