A few minutes ago I was trying to dimension several things to an exterior wall. I had the dimensions set to prefer faces of core. For some reason, the only thing I could snap to on this one particular wall was the wall centerline, the core centerline, or the wall faces. I ctrl-X'd (cut) the wall to the clipboard and then pasted back into the same place, and then all my dimensions worked fine - snapping to the core face just as I wanted.
Why would that one wall have been acting that way? I was able to dimension to the cores of all other walls just fine.
