Been waiting for a correction to the silly syntax/spelling error in the Area Plan categories since the very first time I looked at scheduling before we made the decision to migrate from ADT. Finally, the A in Office Area is upper case.
Except that it might make a mess of existing color schemes. If you pre-populate color schemes by Area Type (as we do), be sure and correct your template. In this case, you can create a new area, tell it to be Office Area, match the colors to Office area then delete Office area. If you do this, your teams can use Transfer Project Standards (checking only color schemes) and Revit will automatically change the old for the new without any user effort deleting and matching colors. If your teams customize everything, then it becomes a manual matching process.
Not, of course, that you will ever get the last minute phone call before a meeting that the drawings one of your colleagues needs for a presentation is plotting incorrectly…
Thanks, Chris! (Chris is one of our EUA "Early Adopters" who is already working in 2010 two weeks prior to our mandatory upgrade deadline.)
