View Full Version : Memory saving ways for rendering a block

I have a large block of tall apartment houses to render. My question is:

Pentium IV, 1.4 GHz, 1 Gb RAM informs on low memory and the task is stopped.

What is an optimal way to handle such situations in Revit. I wonder if a number of houses (each a detailed BIM) can be handled for presentation. Maybe I have to exclude some graphical information (say, interior parts, etc.) as I do in AutoCAD by freezing layers. What is the way in Revit? Even pure walls (as a test) don't go.

Detail: a block is done in a separate file, each building is attached as an xref.

Thank you!
