helical gear trouble

I don`t know what is wrong
i`m trying to draw a helical gear with shaft generator in MDT but the result is still a spur gear
and it seems that the given helix angle dosen`t have any affection on the result
I would be glad if there is any one who can help me with this.

The swift answer; the helix angle option is only available in the 2D Shaft Generator.
Are you defining yours in this manner?
