Curtain wall door refuses to appear!

I can't place a door in a curtain wall. It seems I miss something.
Can someone tell me what to do?

I create a storefront wall and then I open curtain wall single glass door and nothing happens..

Try going to an elevation view of your curtain wall. Tab through until the panel you are trying to replace with the door is selected. Then in the type selector box switch out the panel for the door. Hope that works.

Load the curtain wall door family as you have done, select a panel within the curtain wall build up and change it's property's from whatever it currently is to the door family.
