I have a toposurface generated from ACAD import, and have relocated the project upwards to reflect desired level above sea level. I then set up levels that correspond to my building file, and determined my best 1st floor elevation point (relative to the topo).
Once the buidling model was linked into the site, I positioned it by rotating, moving around the site, and even up in elevation as desired. I have published cooridinates to building model, and I have shared locations.
Now, I would like to move the levels in the site (host) file, but when I try to just change the elevation (i.e from 896'-0 to 998'-0") a "serious error has occured". When I "relocate project" instead, both the host and the building file move. What should I do? Should I even botther with the same levels set up as I have in the building model? Would just having a level in the site model which represent the 1st floor be sufficient?
thanks.
