Multi-Category Schedule

Why do my arch system families not schedule with the rest of the categories in a single schedule?

The only type of schedule they will appear in is a material take-off schedule. Other than that, it seems this is how Revit was designed, and it just has not been changed. What type of multi-catagory schedule are you trying to include them in?
