Why aren't my pads transparent?

I have a grading plan view set to Hidden Line, and my Floors, Site, and Toposurface categories are set to Transparent. For some reason, though, my pads are not showing transparent. I see that I cannot control transparency of subcategories individually in V/G overrides, but only the category itself. As such, I have to select all my pads manually and override their graphics to be transparent. Why is this?

Yeah, I don't know why this is like that.. As a workaround you can create a filter that will make pads traparent and apply it to the view.
