how can i model a gutter depression (inlet), with civil 3d 2010

i am trying to model the gutter depression in from of the storm inlet, when thec urb has to pass from 6" to 8", do u know how to do it?

Again, why are you trying to model it? In this area, we simply show the grade at the flowline extension and then in the detail of the inlet, show the local depression. I assume you are using a corridor or feature lines to model the grading around it. If you are using feature lines, just model it the way you want. If you are using a corridor, you would have to use some pretty in depth assemblies with a custom curb subassembly that you could very the gutter cross slope to match a target or model it using a series of generic links. Again, I think it comes down to why do you need to do this?

I'm not saying don't do it, I just don't see much return in investment (time) in doing this. If you have a valid reason, by all means go for it!
