Transfer Project Standards Line Weight

I've noticed something weird, that I haven't been able to get around. When transfering project standard line weights into an existing project that has been completed, my dimensions loose all relation to line thickness. When trying to change the thickness in element properties, nothing happens. Now if I manually go into my project and change line weights this issue doesn't occur.

Sorry, I figured it out. The file I was using to transfer lineweights from had Annotation lineweights all set to the same thickness.
