getting tripped up on topo w/2010...

it seems the same....i have imported and possitioned acad file and i select "create from import"....and then i cant seem to select it to turn on points, contours etc.....feel like i'm just missing a simple step

Make sure that you import DWG to all views - i.e. with the "Current View Only" option NOT selected.

Also check to see if the contour elevations you're using in the CAD file are outside the range of your current view. View Top and Cut plane both need to be above the highest elevation in your survey.
