Can anyone remind me how to use the:

Delete-0001-allfolders-projects.bat

I can't quite remember, and I can't find it in the Newsgoups. I believe Chris Yearick once posted instructions?

Thanks in advance

Do you have the file? If not it can be downloaded from RUGI, along with a similar batch file for dealing with family backups

Simply open a DOS prompt in windows work through to the path that you want to delete the familes from and then type the path and name of the batch file.

If you are lazy, navigate to the path you want to remove the backups from and then drag and drop the batch file from your desktop into the command prompt.

Ether route will work.

The batch file uses dos commands to delete from all subfolders so you may want to be careful about using it on the root of your project file storage.

for convenience you can do it via "My Computer"

Open search in "My Computer" and type

*.0*.rvt for Project files or
*.0*.rfa for Family files or

*.0*.r** for both or them

save the search file on your desktop (or wherever)
by this you can even open a file before you delete it. (in case your not sure about the content of the file
