I am setting up some complex steelwork framing in ASD where I am setting out my steelwork by using a insertion point offset to acheive setout by either the top or bottom of the member.
But what I have found when I import the STP file into Revit all the framing is moving in the z axis so that the centroid is at the top of the member where I have modelled it in ASD
Is this a limitation of ASD, do you need to only model elements at the centroid?
If I export to ACIS solids, everything works fine.
Also, is the only option when using the STP file to have the elements created in revit as bracing members?
Thanks,
Ben
