Hello:
I've created a curtain system using the "Massing > Curtain System" tool. I need to change the profile of the system. Typically, you'd edit the mass the object was mapped to, then recreate the system, but this option won't work in this particular instance.
Is there any way to edit the profile of this curtain system, like you can with a curtain wall?

Why wont it work in this instance? Did someone accidentally delete the Mass?
You cant edit the Profile of a CS by Face. ACtually, aside from alterations to the Panels and mullions, i dont think you can edit it at all.

Aaron:
The mass contained imported AutoCAD 3DFaces. When the mass was edited, the imported objects were deleted and replaced with new ones. That caused the link between the Revit curtain system and the mass to be broken.

I have been pulling my hair out with this one, too. After rebuilding the same curtain system every time I need to make an adjustment to height or width, I'm beginning to get frustrated. I created a sloped face via massing. I "modeled by face" to create a curtain system. As soon as I start adjusting the grid lines, the curtain system (the wall) is no longer linked to the face, and I cannot edit the profile - the length, the height, etc. I have to delete the whole thing, go back to the mass, make adjustments, model by face, adjust grids... is there a better way? Why won't Revit let me just create a tilted wall?

I know this bad boy is on the wishlist somewhere . I havn't had to use it often, but It'd be nice to have when it's needed.

I started a very heated debate on this Forum on the tilted wall topic about a year ago.
I've been asking for it since Revit 4.5 !
Revit Structure and RAC 2010 now has "tilted columns"--so maybe there's hope?
LOL
cheers..........
