I have downloaded both Aerial and Topo maps of Grant County Minnesota from the datagateway.nrcs.usda.gov/ web site and imported them into drawings in AutoCad Map 3d 2010. They come in with an insertion point of (X) 702771.2724 and (Y) 5055730.9349. When I try to bring in the Shape files to show our turbine locations for our windfarm, created by Expert GPS they come in what looks like to be another State west of Minnesota. When I open the CSV file the (X's) are in the 27......... and the (Y's) are in the 50........

What am I doing wrong?

Sounds like the files have different coordinate systems. You'll need to have to Map translate one file to the same coordinate to the other.

Most USGS data is in metric. Have you taken that into account?
