i Have a question about setting points along a alignement.
is there a way to set points along an alignment at the 25' station tics and also have them set to the elevations from the vertical profile?

Points-Create Points Aligment - Measure Alignment.
Before you do this, make sure you settings for elevation is set to automatic.

sorry i forgot to mention i am using 2008 LDD
Ah, you're in the wrong forum, then. You want one of the Land Desktop ones.
But I think we had to create a Template, assign point codes, link the Template to the Alignment/Profile with the design controls, then use the "Template Points to Drawing" command or something like that. And now that I start to think about it, it seems like there were even more steps in there, like we could only do it after we sampled an existing ground surface, and maybe more.
It's been too long, and the process was too painful, so I may have kind of blocked it all from memory... I remember I got to the point where I could do it relatively quickly, but it took a lot of steps.

i remebered how to do it, all you need is to go into your profile and go to Finished grade vertical alignment there you add cogo points.
Thanks for helping
Ah, it's been too long for me, and I couldn't remember. I was probably thinking of what we had to do in order to create points for roadways, where we might have a Left, CL, and Right (or even more points) at each station.
