Renaming views - very slow

I've got a worksets job and when a Renumber a sheet or rename it, or any view on it. it takes forever to regenerate. Has anyone else experienced this?

I was experiencing this yesterday.
WU2 claims to have improved performance when renaming views. Have you upgraded, yet? I downloaded the upgrade for RME yesterday, but haven't installed it. Maybe that will help?

I just searched for this very topic. I am trying to get sheets printed and out the door...renaming sheets and views is taking FOREVER in RME09, WU3...

We've also experienced this quite a bit in both 2009 and 2010. It would take several minutes to process a single name change in our Master file.

We installed WU2 on Friday and I just did a test, very short one, but it renamed instantly on five different views that would have normally been very slow.

Hoping this actually sticks and the renaming issue is resolved...
