Properties Palatte Problems

Hello all:

I'm using Autodesk Map Series 2004 and I'm having problems with my properties palatte. Everytime I zoom, erase objects, pan, anything really, my pc stalls. This only happens when the properties palatte is active. If I close it, the problem stops. I don't know if this is a problem with Map or my video card. Any suggestions would be appriciated. Thanks.

Sounds like a video issue more than anything. Best way to check is go to the properties of your video card and set the acceleration to None (slider bar in troubleshooting usually) and see if the problem persists, if it begins to work fine upgrade your video drivers (you should probably do that anyway if you have not recently). I would also try setting your PALETTEOPAQUE variable to 0 (I'm not actually sure if this affects the properties pallet).
