Beam System Visibility

Has anyone else noticed the following:

-When you make a Beam System on your Level...
-Change the Elevation higher than your Cut Plane...
-You still see the Beam System no matter how high it is.

Whereas an overhead Beam will not be visible ever.

Any comments on this one?

I'm going to reply to my own post...

Autodesk knows about this bug and plans on fixing it.

This bug shows that it IS possible to show 'stuff' which is above. Which begs the question, why not just refine the View Range to allow this? Could it be a simple checkbox? Show above Cut Plane (but below Top Range). One of the most time consuming workarounds is the view range/underlay, linework/locked detail line.



My Suggestion:
Fix Bugs. Fix Workarounds. THEN think about new tools and UIs. Your clients will grow to love you.
