I want to model a ceiling soffit in 2010 using a Solid Sweep and a profile family but I don't see how you do it in 2010. I want to be able to model it in-place like I could in 2009. Is Conceptual Massing the only way to do it? Can I not model it in-place in the project model?

Like everything else in Revit 2010, the Model in Place tool has moved. You can find it by going to your Home Tab and clicking the drop down arrow under the Component Button. Model in place tools work the same way that they have in previous versions.

Ahah! I did not see it originally. Thank you much Timothy.

For thinks like this, click the down arrow next to the ? at the upper right, and go to Where Is My Command. It will help you find tools that have moved or are not readily apparent.

Good point Patricks. This is also a good tool:

...although, at first I couldn't find the Solid Sweep tool in there.
