Room tag leader to box connection problem

I am having a problem with room tags. Using one with room name, number (within a rectangular box) and area under. All room tags have leaders enabled and are pulled out from the room. The problem occurring is the leaders do not touch the box, there is a gap. I noticed the gap is related to the room name text. If the room name text is longer then the box, there will be a gap between the leader and box that surrounding the room number. Can this be corrected?

That's one for the Wish List.
I'd love it if you could specify "Anchor Points" that the Leaders would always connect to.
The way it currently works is the Leader "connects" to the center of the top, bottom, left ad right of whatever is visible. So, if your Room Name is wider than the Number box, your leader will be disconnected. It will join to the left edge of the Text, not the box.

Are there a work around for this? What are others doing to get leaders to be displayed properly or to your company standards? Currently this is not acceptable in our company. Any suggestions?
