Is there anyway to allow multiple selections of entities work with Contextual Tabs?

Do you mean a selection of multiple entity types?
It does work for me.
It's in the CUI under Ribbon > Contextual Tab States > Heterogeneous selection

I do mean multiple entity types but cannot see that contextual state.

Thanks, this had been driving me nuts!
Contextual Tab name = Multiple
Contextual Tab State name = Heterogeneous selection
With the huge number of states in Civil 3D finding it without knowing the State name proved to be impossible for me.
